The Colors of Fall….
Colors are personal I believe. Yet every year textile and color pundits predict color, fabric & fashion trends to
welcome and inspire people towards change ..
Here are some research and articles on color trends for fall 2007 Men &
Women. Some of the shades of these colors like the ‘Burnt Ochre’ – second
from the top, ‘Chili Pepper’- third from the top, ‘Stargazer’ – fourth from the
top, ‘Lemon Curry’ – eighth from the top & ‘Purple Wine ‘ – last in the picture
were visible on the runway for spring 2008 as well.
So if you are picking up a piece (besides jackets) for fall this season make
sure you pick from these colors as they can be used in summer as well!
Season’s hot pick and color of the year is ‘Chili Pepper’ – the color of strength, health & passion.
In India color red signifies purity, mostly used in wedding & in China red symbolizes celebration and luck, used in many cultural ceremonies that range from funerals to weddings.

Carafe - An alternative for black and charcoal this season.
Purple Wine
– The runway was flooded with this color and it also carries to Spring 2008
