Just out of curiosity, I was checking other blogs today and especially women office wear. And the articles and blogs I read about women professional wear had the maximum number of “DON’T’S” I have ever read in fashion styling!!
What’s this thing with not wearing pink? And not wearing short skirts or low cut blouses? “Decent” colors of red bags are only ok if you try and get away with it by teaming with dark colors? Suit colors should be gray , black or brown????No way !! 
I do not agree and I believe we women are responsible for adding color in those dark and gloomy offices!! Why not dress up for work, add color and still look professional?? My problem is actually not that women dont dress accordingly, but that women do not take time out for themselves to dress up and look great..
So here are my picks and my style of dressing for a very deserving you..
Tops/Blouses – The best way to add color ! Wear halters in attractive colors under your jacket….Halter necks are very close to your face so choose colors which suit your complexion!
Scarves – Another way to add color is to get scarves and team up with solid color suits/shirts /cardigans/ dresses..Scarves add professional and polished look to a whole attire and it becomes a lot easier to match shoes with scarves rather than the whole attire…
Go on and some color to your life and 0thers..

the only governing principle for office dressing should be to “think nuetral”.
no man would walk into an office wearing clothes accentuating his muscular arms or his fantastic ass !
men dress to blend in and are loathe to make any design statement at the office – being called the office dandy is not a compliment.
but can women forget their feminity ?

Everyone has some plus point and some minus – physically (well, almost 99.9% of us)
Similarly everyone has a different personality..
And sexuality is natural and honest and true..
So while we should dress in a way that accentuates what works best for us, we should not be shy of doing so in a fashion that challenges neutrality – be it gender or color.
It is not about dressing up or down, it is about dressing right… it is not about being neutral and blending in and getting lost in the crowd, it is about shining and standing out
And if that means sexy colors, I say bring it on!!

but for office – you are missing the point
hundreds of words have been written about how the office is a man’s world – it isnt, it is just a nuetral world !
when you dress and play the women, sexuality et al, men take the cue and play the male . . with rules which do not consider female sensitivity
professionally qualified women do not seek nor need this role play in their work environment
style is a fine blend of physique, personality and fashion perfectly suited to the time and place !

office fashion is such a great topic of discussion. i swear anything can be worn as long as you wear it well and pair it right. for example footless tights in the office…maybe not for one who pairs it with a mid waist shirt (think 80s throwback) but paired with an avante garde cut black dress and some rocking heels you can look like you stepped out of the pages of vogue. the key to office wear is to avoid the “seductress” look. my opinion you can wear anything as long as it isn’t sexy and suggestive.
